Ritu’s Story
I know the pain and plethora of complications that mental health disorders bring in. I have had first hand experience as a patient and have seen it in my dear ones as caregivers. It sinks in to think that too many people around the world have yet to have the basics of mental health access. That’s what haunts me daily.
It hits close to home, as I faced mental health struggles while fighting cancer. I had access, but many don’t. And that’s when I felt that if I didn’t take a step toward doing something in this sector, I might not have a peaceful sleep. That’s how United We Care started, with the hope of building a better future where everyone gets to access the basics of mental wellness aids “One mind at a Time”.

As an entrepreneur, political strategist, and senior management consultant, I’ve delved into data analytics and operations research on a large scale. Notably, I pioneered a unique material forecasting and planning solution for residential construction and renovation. I also developed Python-based face recognition and OCR engines, with a focus on supporting Indian languages. Currently, I collaborate with mental health experts to conduct clinical studies and real-time statistical analysis on the mental health of the Indian sub-continental population.
