About My Professional Experience

I provide a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere for you to speak freely about yourself and your life experiences. I provide feedback that will give you insight into what is troubling you. My modality of treatment is primarily person-centered, and solution-focused. My aim is to equip you with the tools you need to solve your current problems/issues, and be better able to solve future ones independently as well. I also incorporate cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, relaxation and stress reduction into my sessions for clients who want to work on replacing negative thoughts and behaviors with more positive approaches for managing what is troubling them. Seeking help is a scary idea! But facing the problem(s) you are having difficulty managing, with a trained professional, can bring a sense of self that is its own reward. My expertise is wide and varied. From working with clients who have struggle with high stress, depression or anxiety, reproductive health challenges, relationship breakdowns, LGBTQ+ issues, wellness challenges and abuse issues. I’ve worked with adults just like you seeking help with parenting issues, communication & relationships (romantic, familial, social & professional), and even those seeking simpler life changes like improved physical health, poor sleep wanting healthier eating habits and even those wanting to stop consuming too much alcohol. I am happy to work with clients who are facing life issues no matter what they are. My expertise is in working with adults, teens and children. I also have experience working in child protection for six years to let you know, with many diverse backgrounds.

About My Fun Side

In my spare time, I like to experiment with various gourmet recipes, exercise, travel and spend time with family and friends.
